Small Group Discussion
When you face what seems like a desperate situation—life’s setbacks, emotional exhaustion, and even misunderstanding or blame from those around you—what is usually your first response? Are you more inclined, like Saul, to search for a way out in fear on your own, or like David, to rely on God and find strength in him?

Have you ever experienced God making a way for you in the midst of your greatest weakness and helplessness—quietly protecting you, guiding you, and opening doors you could not open yourself? Has God ever prepared an “Egyptian servant” in your life to lead you forward?

And when God grants you blessings, success, or a kind of “victory,” do you tend to keep it for yourself, or are you willing to recognize that it is all “given by the Lord,” and use those blessings to bless others?
